Shankar is working hard on computer science but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the board would help enormously.

My nephew, Shankar, is 15 and in Grade 11. Shankar loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The board exam is in December. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Patna or online, for about twelve weeks. Shankar is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Shankar's year. Thank you for reading my story.

Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

Wishing you peace, Haritha. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.

Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in Lagos this morning. Thinking of Patna.
