Volunteer tutor needed: computer science for a motivated student in Liverpool
Looking for a patient computer science tutor, 2 hours a week, for 12 weeks.

My younger brother, Jackson, is 14 and in Year 10. Jackson loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in October.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Liverpool or online, for about ten weeks.
Jackson is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Jackson's year.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Columbus so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Stay strong. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Liverpool.
