Volunteer tutor needed: chemistry for a motivated student in Yonkers
Emily is working hard on chemistry but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the SAT would help enormously.

My daughter, Emily, is 11 and in Grade 11. Emily loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The SAT exam is in January.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Yonkers or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Emily is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Emily's year.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

You're not alone, Hailey. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Yonkers
