Verónica is working hard on chemistry but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the SAT would help enormously.

My daughter, Verónica, is 12 and in the final year of school. Verónica loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The SAT exam is in October. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Laredo or online, for about twenty weeks. Verónica is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Verónica's year. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
