My niece, Angela, is 11 and in the final year of school. Angela loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The university entrance exam is in September. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Duluth or online, for about ten weeks. Angela is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Angela's year. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Wishing you the best. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Wudil.

hope things get better soon, Aurora. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.

      • Praying for you. Hope this works out for you. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Duluth.
