Volunteer tutor needed: biology for a motivated student in Anaheim
Carolina is working hard on biology but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My niece, Carolina, is 16 and in Form 3. Carolina loves school but biology has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The GCSE exam is in February.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Anaheim or online, for about twelve weeks.
Carolina is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in biology, you could change the course of Carolina's year.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this, Paula. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up
