My niece, Violet, is 15 and in Form 3. Violet loves school but accounting has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The board exam is in November. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in El Paso or online, for about sixteen weeks. Violet is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in accounting, you could change the course of Violet's year. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. After 25 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
