Volunteer drivers wanted: Yuto's dialysis appointments
Yuto needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇯🇵 Kobe, Hyogo, Japan408 views
Yuto has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Kobe General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Yuto can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way.
Yuto is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Wishing you peace, Naoki. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Turin donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Naoki. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
best of luck, Naoki. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Kobe.
Best of luck, Naoki. Hope you get there. After 26 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
