Volunteer drivers wanted: Yodchai's dialysis appointments

A rota of drivers to the Bang Khen Dialysis Unit would keep Yodchai on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Yodchai has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Bang Khen Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Yodchai can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way. Yodchai is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
