Volunteer drivers wanted: Tiffany's dialysis appointments
A rota of drivers to Sherbrooke General Hospital would keep Tiffany on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇨🇦 Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada878 views
Tiffany has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Sherbrooke General Hospital alone. After surgery on their hand, Tiffany can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way.
Tiffany is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I hope life is good to you.
