Volunteer drivers wanted: Terry's dialysis appointments
Terry needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇬🇧 Leicester, England, United Kingdom1,054 views
Terry has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Leicester Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Terry can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way.
Terry is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

Sending strength, Natalia. Hope you get there. Blessings
hope the doctors have good news. After 29 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double!
Wishing you the best, Natalia. Wishing Terry a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Love from Gdańsk!
Rooting for you, Natalia. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
