Volunteer drivers wanted: Surafel's dialysis appointments
A rota of drivers to the Addis Ababa Kidney Centre would keep Surafel on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Surafel has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Addis Ababa Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Surafel can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 17 km each way.
Surafel is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
