Volunteer drivers wanted: Shazia's dialysis appointments
Could you drive Shazia to Abbottabad General Hospital on Sunday? A rota of 5 drivers is forming.
🇵🇰 Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan260 views
Shazia has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Abbottabad General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Shazia can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way.
Shazia is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

So sorry you're going through this, Shaista. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Wish I lived closer to Ekurhuleni so I could bring a meal
Sending love, Shaista. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side
Sending good thoughts, Shaista. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Munich.
Keep going, Shaista. Shared this with my family. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Santos.
Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Mohammedia so I could bring a meal. All the best.
