Volunteer drivers wanted: Seyi's dialysis appointments

A rota of drivers to the Ikeja Kidney Centre would keep Seyi on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Seyi has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Ikeja Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Seyi can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 12 km each way. Seyi is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Glad we found this place.
