Volunteer drivers wanted: Rashidi's dialysis appointments

A rota of drivers to Mukono General Hospital would keep Rashidi on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Mukono
Rashidi has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Mukono General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Rashidi can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 34 km each way. Rashidi is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you so much.
