Volunteer drivers wanted: Pradeep's dialysis appointments

A rota of drivers to Mumbai General Hospital would keep Pradeep on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Pradeep has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Mumbai General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Pradeep can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way. Pradeep is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
