Volunteer drivers wanted: Pedro's dialysis appointments
A rota of drivers to the San Fernando Kidney Centre would keep Pedro on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Pedro has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the San Fernando Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Pedro can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way.
Pedro is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
