Volunteer drivers wanted: Neil's dialysis appointments
Could you drive Neil to Dasmariñas Regional Medical Center on Thursday? A rota of 3 drivers is forming.
🇵🇭 Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines1,095 views
Neil has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Dasmariñas Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Neil can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 18 km each way.
Neil is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thanks for being kind about this.
