Volunteer drivers wanted: Markus's dialysis appointments
Markus needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Markus has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Regensburg Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Markus can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 27 km each way.
Markus is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Regensburg
- skills
- reliable car, clean driving record

Stay strong, Kevin. This could happen to any of us. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family, Kevin. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Kanpur this morning. Greetings from Kanpur.
So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. All the best
Stay strong. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Good luck, Kevin. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless
