Volunteer drivers wanted: Komal's dialysis appointments
A rota of drivers to the Nashik Dialysis Unit would keep Komal on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇮🇳 Nashik, Maharashtra, India1,510 views
Komal has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Nashik Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Komal can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way.
Komal is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

Praying for you, Jigna. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. After 8 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Dodoma.
