Volunteer drivers wanted: Kiara's dialysis appointments
Could you drive Kiara to the Pune Dialysis Unit on Sunday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.
🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India937 views
Kiara has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Pune Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Kiara can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 17 km each way.
Kiara is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you so much.
