Karina has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to San Miguel de Tucumán General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Karina can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 27 km each way. Karina is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you so much.

rooting for you. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.

              • It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 9 years in construction I know how hard it is to ask for anything. All the best.
