Volunteer drivers wanted: Greyson's dialysis appointments
Greyson needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇦🇺 Wollongong, New South Wales, AustraliaPosted Oct 1, 20261,056 views
Greyson has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Wollongong Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Greyson can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way.
Greyson is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from San Jose
Hope it all works out. Wishing Greyson a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Nashik.
Praying for you, Kylie. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Wishing you the best, Kylie. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
Best of luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
