Volunteer drivers wanted: Gerardo's dialysis appointments
A rota of drivers to Tehuacán Regional Medical Center would keep Gerardo on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇲🇽 Tehuacán, Puebla, Mexico285 views
Gerardo has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Tehuacán Regional Medical Center alone. After an eyesight problem, Gerardo can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 26 km each way.
Gerardo is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Worcester but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Praying for you. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Wish I lived closer to Sydney so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Gaya.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Pretoria donated after I showed her your page!
