Volunteer drivers wanted: Dylan's dialysis appointments
Could you drive Dylan to Toronto General Hospital on Saturday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.
🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada155 views
Dylan has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Toronto General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Dylan can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way.
Dylan is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

You're not alone, David. Hope the doctors have good news.
Take care. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
