Volunteer drivers wanted: Dung's dialysis appointments
Dung needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States1,030 views
Dung has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Anaheim Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Dung can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 19 km each way.
Dung is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you, Nhân. Get well soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Praying for you, Nhân. Your post was clear and honest.
so sorry you're going through this, Nhân. This could happen to any of us.
Stay strong. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to San Diego so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Anaheim.
