Volunteer drivers wanted: Bolaji's dialysis appointments
A rota of drivers to the Kaduna Dialysis Unit would keep Bolaji on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇳🇬 Kaduna, Kaduna, Nigeria757 views
Bolaji has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the Kaduna Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Bolaji can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Bolaji is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Glad we found this place.

- one weekly trip
