Ananya has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Dwarka General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Ananya can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 19 km each way. Ananya is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Dwarka.

    • Hope the doctors have good news. Greetings from Mandaue.
