Volunteer drivers wanted: Aisha's dialysis appointments

A rota of drivers to Lagos Regional Medical Center would keep Aisha on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Aisha has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Lagos Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Aisha can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 24 km each way. Aisha is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
