We're short of hands for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 555 neighbors in St. Louis. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of St. Louis.

    • hang in there, Mi-young. Shared this with my family. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.

      • hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Odesa this morning. Take care.
