Volunteer day: Seniors' Tea Afternoon, Reading
Our small team in Reading is running the Seniors' Tea Afternoon and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇺🇸 Pennsylvania, United States505 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 596 neighbors in Reading. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings!
