Nashik
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 397 neighbors in Nashik. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out, Indira. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.

    • I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 39 people at work. Thinking of Nashik

      • More neighborhoods should do this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
