Volunteer day: Seniors' Tea Afternoon, Kelowna
Our small team in Kelowna is running the Seniors' Tea Afternoon and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇨🇦 Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada457 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 415 neighbors in Kelowna. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Vadodara.
