We're short of hands for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 485 neighbors in Jalandhar. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Hang in there, Aditi. More neighborhoods should do this. After 7 years in retail I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

    • Keep going. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Freiburg.

      • Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Love from Narayanganj.
