Volunteer day: Seniors' Tea Afternoon, Huntsville
Give a few hours to the Seniors' Tea Afternoon - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
๐บ๐ธ Huntsville, Alabama, United States789 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 352 neighbors in Huntsville. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good luck, Jameson. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Sent it to 13 people at work. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this, Jameson. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Huntsville
