Volunteer day: Seniors' Tea Afternoon, Dwarka
We're short of hands for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon; can you spare a morning?
🇮🇳 Delhi, India1,610 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 190 neighbors in Dwarka. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending love. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Quezon City.
thinking of you and your family, Sayali. More neighborhoods should do this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
Hope it all works out. More neighborhoods should do this. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Sayali. Shared this with my family!

thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Mobile.
