Volunteer day: School Supplies Giveaway, Southampton
Our small team in Southampton is running the School Supplies Giveaway and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom1,432 views
Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 425 neighbors in Southampton. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thanks for being kind about this.
