Volunteer day: School Supplies Giveaway, Mississauga

We're short of hands for the School Supplies Giveaway; can you spare a morning?

Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 245 neighbors in Mississauga. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you so much.

            • Best of luck, Brooks. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Faisalabad.

              • This could happen to any of us. I hope December is when things finally get easier
