Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 331 neighbors in Depok. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Best of luck, Ahmad. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from New York.

    • Hope it all works out, Ahmad. Shared it with a few friends. All the best.

      • take care, Ahmad. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double!

        • You're not alone. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Peshawar so I could bring a meal.

          • So sorry you're going through this, Ahmad. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
