Volunteer day: Refugee Welcome Picnic, San Diego
Give a few hours to the Refugee Welcome Picnic - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇺🇸 California, United States526 views
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 579 neighbors in San Diego. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

praying for you. Looking forward to the next update. Don't give up. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. After 26 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
