Volunteer day: Refugee Welcome Picnic, Quezon City
Our small team in Quezon City is running the Refugee Welcome Picnic and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 113 neighbors in Quezon City. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. After 12 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Keep going, Christian. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Quezon City.
