Volunteer day: Refugee Welcome Picnic, Manchester

We're short of hands for the Refugee Welcome Picnic; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 279 neighbors in Manchester. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Glad we found this place.
