Volunteer day: Refugee Welcome Picnic, Lagos
We're short of hands for the Refugee Welcome Picnic; can you spare a morning?
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria707 views
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 464 neighbors in Lagos. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I hope life is good to you.

Good luck, Damilola. Hope you get there. After 18 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Johannesburg.
Hope things get better soon, Damilola. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Flint so I could bring a meal. Love from Augsburg.

Sending love. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Mumbai so I could bring a meal.
