Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 227 neighbors in Kikuyu. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Glad we found this place.
