Volunteer day: Refugee Welcome Picnic, Ibadan
Our small team in Ibadan is running the Refugee Welcome Picnic and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria611 views
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 475 neighbors in Ibadan. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you so much.

Best of luck, Chioma. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Take care.
rooting for you. More neighborhoods should do this. Greetings from Boulogne-Billancourt!
Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Hope things get better soon, Chioma. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.
