Volunteer day: Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive, Setagaya
Our small team in Setagaya is running the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.

Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 284 neighbors in Setagaya. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Karachi
Hang in there. More neighborhoods should do this. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family, Goro. Great idea, hope you get there. I'll check back for the next update. God bless
Praying for you. More neighborhoods should do this. Blessings
Thinking of you, Goro. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Epe.
Thinking of you, Goro. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Los Angeles.
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from San Antonio.
I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Los Angeles donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
