Volunteer day: Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive, Recife
Give a few hours to the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil345 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 139 neighbors in Recife. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.

Hang in there, André. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Thinking of you and your family, André. Shared this with my family. We're a small family in Zapopan but we're thinking of you. Blessings
Keep going. Your post was clear and honest. Blessings!
