Volunteer day: Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive, Kanpur
Our small team in Kanpur is running the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇮🇳 Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India242 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 241 neighbors in Kanpur. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

thinking of you and your family, Ritu. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Take care, Ritu. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Manila!
