Volunteer day: Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive, Badagry
Our small team in Badagry is running the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria1,739 views
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 300 neighbors in Badagry. I help organize it with 4 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending strength, Nkechi. Great idea, hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
