Volunteer day: Holiday Toy Drive, San Jose

We are short of hands for the Holiday Toy Drive; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Holiday Toy Drive brings together 594 neighbors in San Jose. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Glad we found this place.

keep going, Pilar. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. After 29 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Fresno.
